 Responsibilities:

  • Learning to operate our range of cutting machines to a point where they can be confidently demonstrated to customers.
  • Learning software used to operate the machine, as well as the various packages we supply with the cutting machines. The software packages need to be learnt to a level where they can be confidently demonstrated to customers.
  • Learning the techniques for cutting different materials and carrying out sample cutting for potential customers.
  • Liasing with customers.
  • Co-ordinating customer visits to our factory.
  • Inputting and updating the CRM.
  • Other roles as required by the Sales Department.

Job Title: CUTTING RESOURCES, SPARES AND CONSUMABLES BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Job Description: : Developing the Spares and Consumables website and sales platform to increase turnover and profitability.

 Responsibilities:

  • Planning, developing, and coordinating spares and consumable transactions, and development of the Cutting Resources ™ website in line with profitability and volume sales targets.
  • Serving as administrative liaison in the department, providing support for daily maintenance and transaction management from procurement, stock control and shipping of spares consumables and other machine peripherals.
  • Records management on the sales CRM system, Accounts System, and other software packages to facilitate the collection and reporting of statistics including gaining an in-depth knowledge of the uses of the spares and consumables, and recording this for improving customer information.
  • Management and Control of the department to include all office staff involved in spares and consumables transactions and other where applicable including office staff, HR, Purchasing, Accounts Function, Marketing, transportation, OEM (When introduced), Costing & Management Spreadsheets and also general day to day operation.
  • Responsible for daily communication, response to customers and suppliers as well as other communication with customers as required.
  • Managing minimum stock levels of required inventory (purchases of stock items, stationery items, postage, courier and complete printing material for the organization).
  • Managing the migration of information currently communicated by telephone by customers to the Cutting resources website, and increasing flow through the site.
  • Using the CUT GURU website template to source component items direct from suppliers to increase profitability of purchased items.
  • Maintaining overview of market prices to ensure competitive pricing and managing to increase market share.
  • Managing marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness. Attending sales meetings and marketing meetings for training purposes and to enable the growth of the educational value to customers of the materials and cutting tool performance.
  • Establishing updates and maintaining manual /automated filing systems for confidential /administrative files in order to update and track information.
  • Directing the preparations and maintenance of requisite reports in order to keep the management board abreast of significant issues affecting the development and delivery of programs and services.
  • Organized training for developing yourself in the role, and other office staff as applicable, to ensure enhanced effectiveness and efficience.
  • Other roles as required by the General Manager
