Knives and blades manufactured from steel or tungsten carbide, supported in machine specific tool holders, is the system used for cutting on all Blackman & White machines.

Electric Oscillating Knife – Motorised cutting tool with an oscillating speed of 12,000 RPM, and a cutting stroke of 0.7mm. Depending on the material the tool supports a wide range of blades for cutting complex shapes.

Air Oscillating Knife – Pneumatically powered tool with an oscillating speed of 9,000 RPM and cutting stroke of 8mm. For accurate cutting of materials which require a larger cutting stroke such as foams and rubbers.

Electric Rotary Wheel Tool – With a rotational speed of 12,000 RPM, its primary use is for the clean cutting of fabrics and textiles. The electrically powered tool holds both decagonal and round carbide cutting blades.

Thru Cut Knife – Drag knife tool designed for cutting materials in a single or multiple pass. It is designed to hold single and double edge carbide blades to maximise the range of materials that can be cut with one tool.

V Cut Tool – For angle cutting of foamboard and recycled fibreboard where folding is required. Printed Point of Sale display structures such as literature racks, shelves and stands are manufactured with the use of angled cutting.

25mm Crease Wheel – For the creasing of card for packaging applications such as boxes where fold lines are required. Available with a range of creasing wheels for different creasing levels.
Compatible with:

60mm Crease Wheel – Used for heavy creasing of fold lines on corrugated cardboard for packaging and box-making applications. Available with a range of creasing wheels for different creasing levels.

Kiss Cut Tool – For vinyl and film applications which require intricate scoring through the adhesive layer, without cutting through the backing material. Used in both printed and unprinted applications.

Fine Adjust Tool Holder – Non-powered knife tool with a manually rotating collar to allow for small and accurate changes in blade depth. The tool is designed for both kiss and through cutting of materials. Available with PTFE or Roller Ball shoe.
Compatible with:

Drag Knife Tool – Non-powered knife tool for cutting materials up to 10mm in thickness. Holds a Stainless steel cutting blade and is available with PTFE or roller ball shoe.

Rotary Wheel Tool – Non-powered rotary wheel tool for cutting textiles and fabrics up to 10 mm in thickness. Disposable Stainless Steel blades are used with this tool and are available in 18mm and 28mm diameter options.
