November 2016 will see Blackman & White exhibiting at METS for the third time and with each show the buzz and interest in our flatbed cutting machines grows.
Mets 2015 picked up where the 2014 show left off and we will work hard to keep this momentum going into Mets 2016.
As a company we take great pride in supplying our knife and laser cutting machines to the marine industry. Interest in our machines last year from both new and existing customers was as great as ever, we even attracted visitors enquiring about our machines hailing from the Automotive and Print industries!.
During the show we demonstrated our Genesis 2200 Flatbed system with Oscillating knife and Powered rotary knife unit cutting an array of sailcloth, as well as our nesting and photo digitising software. We were able to give visitors to our stand a good insight into the workflow of our system, which was the first time we had done this at METS.
The whole team worked very hard to deliver a great show and we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to our stand again in 2016.
All work and no play….not at Blackman and White
When you think of a Corporate night out or Company Christmas “do’s”, you’d be forgiven for first imagining images of stuffy suits and watching your P’s and Q’s.
You couldn’t be further from the truth when it comes to Blackman & White. We helped all our staff get in the festive mood by holding a fun Christmas Jumper day at work – and everyone took part from the youngest to the oldest as you can see from the picture below, there were some right good ‘ol corkers.
And we celebrated the New Year with an evening of exciting (if not competitive) bowling!
Unfortunately there could only be on winner. Congrats to Graham and Adrian
