Cut Polycarbonate Sheet
Multi-layer polycarbonate sheeting is a translucent material that is used as a durable and lightweight roofing material, notably in conservatories, however it is increasingly being used in buildings to provide open and well-lit spaces.
Traditionally cut with saws or routers, these techniques generated dust which collected inside the hollow fluted material. This required an extra step in production of ‘blowing’ the dust out. Blackman & White developed a machine holding a unique blade (BW90MM) which cut the polycarbonate sheet cleanly and accurately without generating any dust.
